PUPS Pet Club is a premier provider of comprehensive services for the unique needs of your pet. We are dedicated to providing a safe, fun and enriching environment for dogs. Our mission is to provide the absolute best care for dogs.  Everything else is secondary! We are looking for a passionate General Manager to join our pack and oversee the daily operations of our facility.

The General Manager of a PUPS Pet Club will be responsible for the overall management of the club including staff supervision, customer relations, and ensuring the highest standards of care and service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for dogs, and experience in a similar role. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  1. Oversee daily operations of the club, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  2. Manage and schedule staff, providing leadership, training and support
  3. Ensure the facility meets all safety and cleanliness guidelines
  4. Foster a positive and engaging environment for dogs, clients and staff 
  5. Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents and inventory
  6. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, expense control and revenue generation
  7. Coordinate marketing efforts to attract new clients and retain existing ones
  8. Ensure the health and safety of all pets by establishing, following and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures and complying with health and legal regulations.
  9. Build relationships with members and address any concerns that they may have. 
  10. Create a partnership with other industry-related businesses and participate in community outreach with local pet organizations
  11. Establish relationships with building owners and management companies

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma 
  2. 2-3 years of prior management experience 
  3. Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  5. A passion for working with animals and understanding their needs 
  6. Ability to handle stressful situations and make decisions in a face paced environment
  7. Understanding of financial management and budgeting
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office and management software
